The Rio Reimagined
The goal of The Rio Reimagined project is to restore and revitalize more than 55 miles along the Salt and Gila Rivers, which wind through six cities, including Phoenix and Tempe, and two Native American communities. The idea to restore the river corridor was first introduced by ASU students decades ago. In March 2018, commitments were made by key stakeholders to move this project forward. And in recent months, the project received a federal designation, providing additional resources to make this goal a reality.
We look at Summer 2020 and why this will be a huge opportunity for people to get ahead in their learning. In a period of economic uncertainty, higher education remains one of the best investments people can make.
