Celebrating public service

When ASU’s Public Service Academy debuted in 2015, it was one of a kind. Since then, the program has become a model for universities across the country, educating the next generation of public servants and empowering students to change the world through public service. PSA students also have the opportunity to join the Next Generation Service Corp, a four-year leadership development program where students study their chosen major while working on real issues in the public, private and nonprofit sectors — all while pursuing their own chosen social mission. And through the Next Generation Service Partnership (launched by Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions and Volcker Alliance), ASU’s national initiative focuses on expanding public service opportunities throughout higher education, across the country.
