Women's tennis hosts first home match of 2012

The No. 19 Arizona State tennis team will host its' first home match of the 2012 dual season this weekend opening conference play at the Whiteman Tennis Center in Tempe, Ariz. The Sun Devils will open up the dual season against UC Davis at noon, Jan. 21, and host UC Santa Barbara at 11 a.m., Jan. 22.

ASU Women's Tennis spent last weekend in Las Vegas, competing at the Freeman Memorial Tennis Championships hosted by UNLV.

Coach Sheila McInerney is hoping to carry the momentum gained from two victories on Sunday into this weekends play. "We have had a good week of practice and the girls are excited to start the dual meet season," said McInerney.
