Psychology Department Invites Applications for Assistant-Professor-Behavioral Neuroscience Position

The Psychology Department at Arizona State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin Fall 2008. A Ph.D. in psychology or related field and demonstrated experience or potential in research and teaching are required. Evidence of interest in collaborating with interdisciplinary/translational research initiatives is desired.

The Department has active funded research programs for the study of neuropsychiatric disorders, neurodegenerative disease/aging, drug abuse, stress, health, cognition and emotion. Additional opportunities for collaboration include a large and growing neuroscience community at ASU and in the Phoenix metro area with a strong linkage to the UA College of Medicine-Phoenix. Review of applications will begin 12/1/07, if not filled will continue weekly until the search is closed.
