Oxford, Cambridge Society forms at ASU

April 05, 2007

A Phoenix Oxford and Cambridge Society, similar to those established in Tucson and across the country, is being organized by faculty members at ASU.

Organizers are seeking to contact anyone with a connection to the University of Oxford or University of Cambridge, including those who have served as visiting fellows, faculty members or research project participants. An initial meeting will be held to discuss what types of activities participants would like to schedule, including speakers or seminars.

Although Oxford and Cambridge have provided lists of their graduates and contributors, these institutions do not have lists of academics who have visited, or had other academic or scholarly connections. Anyone interested in joining the club should contact Jonathan Rose, a professor of law at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, at (480) 965-6513 or jonathan.rose@asu.edu.
