English professor moonlights as 'roller derby chick'

What do roller derby and 19th century British literature have in common, asks Ty Brennan of local Fox 10 News.

Brennan's answer was found in the ASU Department of English, where professor Devoney Looser, an expert in the literature of Jane Austen, also specializes in the sport of roller derby.

Competing under the name of Stone Cold Jane Austen, Looser says joining the fast-paced world of roller derby has helped bring her closer to her students.
