Calleros holds workshops at Loyola University New Orleans


Professor Charles Calleros recently facilitated workshops at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law on effective teaching and creating an inclusive environment in law school.

Calleros held sessions with the staff, faculty and adjunct faculty. During the faculty session, Calleros did a “free write” activity and broke the faculty into small groups to share teaching ideas. He also showed clips from the video, “Teach to the Whole Class.”

Calleros’ research interests include the intersection of race and gender discrimination and free speech; various issues regarding legal education, and international and comparative contract law. He teaches courses in contracts, international contracts, and civil rights legislation at the College of Law. At the Université Paris Descartes, he annually teaches short courses in common law legal method, comparative and international contracts and international conflict of Laws.
