In the QS World University Rankings for 2027, ASU is ranked 15th among U.S. public universities, and No. 172 in the world out of over 1,500 institutions — both up one spot from last year.
A group of dignitaries from Taiwan visited Phoenix on Monday to see firsthand how companies from their country are locating to Arizona to gain a foothold in the U.S. market — including a showcase of several health care companies at ASU's 850 PBC building downtown.
Over the next 16 months, researchers at ASU will use weather balloons, radar and atmospheric sensors to study how extreme heat, urban growth and dust influence storm intensity in one of America's fastest-warming cities.
