Arizona PBS is now free to stream for Prime Video viewers in the US

Arizona PBS is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
A new partnership between PBS and Amazon brings the station’s primary, high-definition broadcast channel, along with the 24/7 PBS KIDS channel, to Prime Video’s free, ad-supported streaming television, or FAST, offerings, which means viewers will be able to access the channels via the Prime Video app, web and Fire TV.
This collaboration marks the first time PBS programming is available for free on a major streaming service, expanding access to high-quality educational content for people across Arizona.
Non-Prime users can also access this content for free under the “Watch for Free” section within Prime Video.
“We’re excited to announce that Arizonans can now stream our primary broadcast channel for free through Prime Video,” said Scott Woelfel, the station’s general manager. “In today’s ever-changing media landscape, providing Arizonans cross-platform access to our programming is crucial as we seek to better serve all who call the Grand Canyon State home.”
In November 2024, PBS and Amazon announced more than 150 local PBS stations and the PBS KIDS Channel would launch ad-free over the coming months as a Prime Video FAST offering. Additionally, PBS Distribution (PBSd), a leading distributor of public media content around the world, now offers two new FAST channels: PBS Drama and PBS Documentaries.
This launch marks a significant milestone for PBS in delivering a curated lineup of its high-quality programming from member stations to a broader audience, and the addition reflects Arizona PBS’ ongoing commitment to expanding digital access to its educational programming.
Alongside Prime Video, the station’s programming remains available through a variety of platforms, including the azpbs.org website, Hulu + Live TV, YouTubeTV, Local Now and in the PBS App. Additionally, Arizona PBS members have access to an extended library of public television programming through Arizona PBS Passport.
