Forbes lists ASU as one of 'America’s Best Employers by State'

This month, Forbes named Arizona State University one of America’s Best Employers by State for 2023.

Michael G. Latsko, ASU vice president and chief human resources officer, said the award highlights the university’s efforts to provide an exceptional work experience for its dedicated faculty and staff.

“We have always been deeply committed to creating an environment where our employees thrive and contribute to the university’s continued success,” Latsko said. “ASU’s recognition is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our dedicated teams and reinforces our position as an employer of choice for Arizona and the U.S.”

Forbes partnered with Statista, a global market research firm, to survey a total of 70,000 full- and part-time employees working at companies with a minimum of 500 employees across the United States and the District of Columbia.

Survey participants were asked how willing they would be to recommend their current employer to friends and family. They also provided insights into various work-related topics, such as diversity, the development potential, salary, working conditions and the overall image of the university.

ASU was also named one of America’s Best Large Employers for 2023 earlier this year.
