Renew parking permit before April 30 for chance at prize

<p>Each spring, current ASU parking permit holders have the opportunity to renew their permits to retain their same parking assignment for the next school year. The parking permit renewal period for 2010-2011 is currently underway and concludes April 30. Permit holders who do not renew their current parking assignment can purchase a 2010-2011 permit during the new sales period beginning July 1, but should keep in mind that permit selection at that time will be based on availability and their current, preferred permit location may not be available in July.</p><separator></separator><p>This year, ASU Parking and Transit Services is offering an extra incentive for employees and students who renew their permit in April or purchase a permit during the new sales period using MyParking Online Services. Permit holders who complete their purchase online at <a href="http://pts.asu.edu&quot; target="_blank">http://pts.asu.edu</a&gt; are automatically entered into the PTS Online Customer Perks drawing for the chance to win prizes.</p><separator></separator><p>“Every year, we see a large number of customers who fail to renew or wait until the last minute to purchase their permit, creating long lines at the Parking office just prior to the start of the fall semester,” said Melinda Alonzo-Helton, PTS assistant director. “Since most customers pay by credit card, we hope the incentive encourages everyone to take advantage of MyParking Online Services’ quick and easy process.”</p><separator></separator><p>Prizes include an iTunes gift card ($60), an ASU Gammage gift certificate (valued at $150), an ASU Bookstore gift card ($250) and two game tickets and parking accommodations to a Sun Devil football game during the 2010 season.
