No. 3 women's golf to compete at the Edean Ihlanfeldt


<p>Seattle, Wash. - The third-ranked Arizona State women&#39;s golf team travels to Seattle, Wash., to compete in the 2007 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, Oct. 8-10. The tournament, hosted by the University of Washington, will be held at the par-72, 6,127-yard Sahalee Country Club in the Seattle suburb of Sammamish, Wash.</p><separator></separator><p>In her two years of playing in the Edean Ihlanfeldt, junior All-American <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/osborn_jennifer00.html">… Osborn</a> has excelled at the Sahalee Country Club. As a freshman, Osborn finished in first place taking individual medalist honors. The following year, Osborn tied her then career best of 68 in the final round to finish in third place.</p><separator></separator><p>The 16-team field for the tournament features eight teams ranked in the top-25 in the most recent Golf World/NGCA Coaches Poll. Competing in the Edean Ihlanfeldt are no. 7 Arizona, no. 3 Arizona State, no. 20 BYU, no. 22 California, Long Beach State, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, no. 11 Pepperdine, no. 18 New Mexico, no. 15 Stanford, UNLV, no. 4 USC, San Francisco, Washington, and Washington State.</p><separator></separator><p>Tournament results will be available at www.golfstat.com.</p&gt;
