No. 3 women's golf to compete at the Edean Ihlanfeldt
Seattle, Wash. - The third-ranked Arizona State women's golf team travels to Seattle, Wash., to compete in the 2007 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, Oct. 8-10. The tournament, hosted by the University of Washington, will be held at the par-72, 6,127-yard Sahalee Country Club in the Seattle suburb of Sammamish, Wash.
In her two years of playing in the Edean Ihlanfeldt, junior All-American Jennifer Osborn has excelled at the Sahalee Country Club. As a freshman, Osborn finished in first place taking individual medalist honors. The following year, Osborn tied her then career best of 68 in the final round to finish in third place.
The 16-team field for the tournament features eight teams ranked in the top-25 in the most recent Golf World/NGCA Coaches Poll. Competing in the Edean Ihlanfeldt are no. 7 Arizona, no. 3 Arizona State, no. 20 BYU, no. 22 California, Long Beach State, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, no. 11 Pepperdine, no. 18 New Mexico, no. 15 Stanford, UNLV, no. 4 USC, San Francisco, Washington, and Washington State.
