New alumni mobile site helps Sun Devils go digital
<p>The ASU Alumni Association launched its mobile website on Nov. 30, offering all Sun Devils a way to stay connected while on the go.</p><separator></separator><p>The site offers the functions and features of the main ASU Alumni Association website in a digital format that is more compatible with mobile phones. Users can access the site to get ASU news, learn about upcoming events, enter into member contests and much more easily from their mobile devices at any time.</p><separator></separator><p>“The site offers Sun Devils a way to stay in the know no matter where they are,” says Jenny Holsman, executive director of operations for the ASU Alumni Association. “We designed it to be easy to navigate giving users access to the things they need and want right from the palm of their hand.”</p><separator></separator><p>The site simplifies highly used features of the full Web site, and is compatible with most popular mobile devices — including iPhone, BlackBerry and Android. Users who access <a href="http://alumni.asu.edu/" target="_blank">alumni.asu.edu</a> through their phone will be instantly redirected to the mobile-friendly version of the site, which also can be accessed via computer by visiting <a href="http://alumni.asu.edu/mobile" target="_blank">alumni.asu.edu/mobile</a> on any Internet browser.</p>
