One of Arizona State University's oldest and most treasured traditions, the annual Lantern Walk — where students, alumni and friends carry lights to the top of "A" Mountain to light up Tempe — celebrated its 100th anniversary Friday.
The night before the Homecoming game, ASU's Homecoming royalty was announced at the top of the mountain: Allison Sorgeloos, a Barrett honors student and junior studying secondary education, was named queen, and Payne Ruhlman, a Barrett honors student and senior studying supply chain management, was named king.
Experience the sights and sounds of the centennial walk below.
