Launching the Global Futures Laboratory

ASU is launching a new laboratory dedicated to keeping our planet habitable and enhancing the options for future generations to thrive.

The Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory is an ambitious plan to be a national hub for researchers, one that would house more than 500 faculty and 1,000 students to study climate change, public health, food security, energy systems and more. The new lab will house ASU’s new College of Global Futures.

This episode talks with Dean Christopher Boone about Global Futures, how we got to this point, the need for it, the results he imagines can be achieved, the goals he has, and the vision for the difference it will make.
