Innovating and diversifying museums

The ASU-LACMA Master’s Fellowship was founded in 2018 as a partnership between ASU’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, the ASU Art Museum, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, with a goal of creating a new, diverse generation of art museum leaders. In spring 2021, the programs’ first cohort graduated. The three-year art history degree program gives students hands-on experiences as employees of participating art museums.
