Volleyball graduate named to COBRA Magazine All-National Second Team

Erica Wilson finished her senior season with Arizona State volleyball in a campaign that brought the Sun Devils to their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2006. Wilson picked up another award after being named to COBRA Magazine's 2012 All-National Second Team.

Erica Wilson was named to COBRA Magazine's Honorable Mention team as a junior and after guiding the Sun Devils to the NCAA Tournament earned All-National Second Team accolades for her senior season.

"I am pleased that someone outside our program is recognizing Erica for her body of work this season," head coach Jason Watson said. "It is clear to me, that without Erica and her embracing the move from the middle, we would not have gotten into the NCAA Tournament."

COBRA Magazine started its National Team award in 2009, and celebrates the success of volleyball players of African as well as Samoan and Tongan descent in hopes of encouraging young girls of those ethnic groups across the country to pursue the sport.
