Third Conference on Aging Covers the Gamut


<p>The School of Aging and Lifespan Development hosted a successful third &quot;Conference on Aging&quot; on Saturday, March 1.  Over fifty people attended, learning valuable information on how to &quot;Maintain Your Brain,&quot; cope with caregiving stress, begin pre-retirement estate planning, and six other topics.  Presenters were from the Alzheimer's Association, ASU's New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences, relocation firms from around the valley, and other agencies or organizations that serve older adults or their family members.</p><separator></separator><p>Audience members were enthusiastic about what they learned, repeatedly stressing the practical knowledge they gained, as well as wishing they had &quot;more time&quot; to spend on each topic.</p><separator></separator><p>The School of Aging will host a &quot;Focused Forum in early 2009 on a single topic (as yet to be determined).  Previous Focused Forums have covered Advance Directives, Memory Issues, Caregiving, and Diabetes. </p>
