Texas ASU alums, fans now can show Sun Devil pride with collegiate license plates

While ASU’s mascot Sparky the Sun Devil lives in the desert near the Phoenix metropolitan area, he also has a place in the heart of former Sun Devils in the Lone Star State. Now, Texas Sun Devils also can display their Sun Devil spirit on the road!

An ASU collegiate license plate sponsored by the ASU Alumni Association now is available for purchase throughout Texas. Alumni and Sun Devil supporters now can show their support for maroon and gold on the Texas roads.

The design of the “Sparky” license plate features Sparky on an all-gold background with a white strip at the bottom bearing the words ASU Sun Devils. The plates provide alumni and other ASU enthusiasts with another visible way to show their support for ASU, according to Christine K. Wilkinson, president of the ASU Alumni Association.
