Sun Devil Marching Band presents annual "Pass In Review" concert
The Sun Devil Marching Band will be presenting their annual “Pass In Review” concert on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Wells Fargo Arena.
The concert, a staple of the Sun Devil Marching Band’s tradition, will feature all of the music performed by the band during the 2012 football season along with a special Christmas surprise performance. Admission is free to the public.
The band, also known as the Pride of the Southwest, was founded in 1915 and has since performed at the pre game show for Super Bowl XLII, Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Suns games. They have also made special guest appearances with the Boston Brass Quartet, Tower of Power and Little Richard. The 2012 Marching Band has a total enrollment of 345 members with a wide variety of majors from all four Arizona State campuses.
This year’s Pass In Review will include Pre Game 2012, Music of the Eagles, Dance Mix, A Tribute to Stan Kenton, A Patriotic Showcase and performances by the Dixie Devils and the Trash Can Tenors.
