Students go back to school for fall semester

Retha Warnicke, history professor at ASU, presented a talk titled "Fearless Females: Audacious and Feisty Women of the Middle Ages and Renaissance" to a full house of attendees at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, Aug. 16. The event was one of the public programs of ASU's Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. Warnicke specializes in politics and protocol of the court of Tudor England and has just released her new book, "Wicked Women of Tudor England: Queens Aristocrats, Commoners."
