New traditions usher in Todd Graham football era


The Todd Graham era of ASU Football begins Aug. 30, and with it new ASU traditions will be introduced prior to the 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

Fry’s Ultimate Tailgate

Join fellow Sun Devil Club members and fans in the Arboretum for Fry’s Ultimate Tailgate sponsored by the Sun Devil Club four hours prior to every home game kickoff. This will be the ultimate tailgating experience with visits from the band, spirit squad and Sparky. Televisions, live entertainment, food and beverages are all provided with admission.

All Sun Devil Club members that donate above and beyond ticket contribution get admission for two free. Fans can also give a donation $40 at the entrance or purchase select merchandise from Fry’s the week before each tailgate. Check your Fry’s receipt for more information.

Sun Devil Marching Band Concert

Three hours prior to kickoff fans are encouraged to enter Wells Fargo Arena to rock with Sparky, the Spirit Squad and 350 plus members of the Sun Devil Marching Band for the Sun Devil Marching Band Concert. The event is free for fans of all ages and is a great way to see the Sun Devil Marching Band fire up the crowd.

Devil Walk

Coinciding with the Marching Band Concert will be the new Devil Walk. Approximately two and a half hours before kickoff head coach Todd Graham will lead the team through the arena with the band playing and the team tossing ASU goodies to the fans.

Fan are encouraged to come early for the Sun Devil Marching Band concert and get a seat in the Wells Fargo Arena north stands close to the action when the team enters.
