The Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College Preschool is currently enrolling children ages 3-5 for the fall. The preschool is housed at a new location in Arizona State University’s Community Services Building, located at 200 E. Curry Rd. (northeast corner of Mill Avenue and Curry Road). The facility has free parking with easy drop-off and pick-up for parents. Parents can take advantage of new, extended hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and more open days throughout the year.

In order to effectively serve children with diverse developmental needs, the preschool incorporates an advanced education model, reflecting Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College initiatives in early childhood education. Further, it offers a new play-based curriculum, called Teaching Early Literacy and Language (TELL).

TELL, which has been extensively tested, incorporates learning objectives aligned with the new state of Arizona Early Learning Standards, and is implemented within art, science, math, social, and fine and gross motor activities. Each class is staffed by a teaching team and led by a teacher who has a master’s degree.

Enrollment is currently underway for August 2014. Parents can schedule a tour of the new location by contacting the preschool directly at (480) 965-9396 or preschool@asu.edu. More information can be found online at http://education.asu.edu/preschool.
