Learn about solar-system volcanoes at astronomy open house


Did you know there are different types of volcanoes throughout the solar system?

You can learn more about them during the free Astronomy Open House from 8 to 10 p.m. Feb. 26 on the roof of the Bateman Physical Sciences Center H Wing (5th Floor) on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus.

There also will be a planetarium show, demonstrations of impact cratering, telescope viewings and other fun activities. You can also learn what is visible in the sky at this time, and get an update on what’s happening on Mars.
