Healthy Recipe

Tried out a delicious new recipe tonight! This will fill you up while helping you keep your goals. What you need:

Veggies (frozen or fresh) – I used corn, green beans, peas and carrots.
Fresh garlic – I used 2 cloves but you can use more/less.
Can of roasted tomatoes
Whole-wheat cous cous
Can of tomato sauce
Can of chickpeas
Meat – (optional) I used chicken.

To make-
Start with a little extra virgin olive oil in a medium size pot
Throw in the garlic and sauté for about a minute
Add meat if you are using it
Once meat is cooked throw in veggies
Cook until veggies are tender and add remaining ingredients
Leave to marinate for 3 -5 minutes

Cook cous cous separately according to directions.
