Gym Devils take on Huskies

The 22nd-ranked Arizona State women's gymnastics team travels to Seattle, Wash. to take on No. 25 Washington, at 7 p.m., PT, March 2. Joining the Gym Devils will be the ASU men's gymnastics club team, who will be competing in a meet against the UW men's gymnastics club team. The meet in Washington marks the first of two combined meets for the Sun Devils. Returning to Tempe, the Gym Devils will once again compete with the men's team at 7 p.m., March 9, in Wells Fargo Area as they host senior night against Stanford. The meet will be broadcast live on FS Arizona

The Sun Devils moved up to No. 22 in the nation after the RQS rankings were released last Sunday. With their new RQS score of 195.145, ASU is the most improved team in the country from last season. ASU is also ranked 16th on beam, 19th on bars, 22nd on floor and 34th on vault. Senior Beaté Jones made her national rankings debut, Sunday, sitting 20th in the nation in the all-around for the Sun Devils.

Arizona State is taking on a 25th-ranked Husky team who upset then No. 1-ranked UCLA at home this season. Washington has recorded a season-high score of 195.725 and current holds an RQS score of 194.825. UW is also ranked 22nd on bars.
