The 24th-ranked Arizona State women's gymnastics team (4-3, 2-2 Pac-12) resumes Pac-12 competition as it heads to Los Angeles to compete against sixth-ranked UCLA (7-1-1, 3-1-1 Pac-12) on Sunday at 2 p.m. PT for the Bruin's "Throw Back" meet.

Last week the Sun Devils scored a team total of 195.525 against No. 18 Illinois at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe. Senior Beaté Jones once again scored a season and career-high 9.900 on floor en route to her second-best all around total of the season with a 39.225.  Senior Kahoku Palafox also scored a season-high 9.875 rounding out the Gym Devil bar line-up.

The No. 6 Bruins are averaging a team score of 196.543 with the team raked second in the nation on vault (49.418), eighth on floor (49.111) and beam (48.961) and ninth on bars (49.054). UCLA also features the No. 1 vaulter in the nation, Vanessa Zamarripa, who is averaging a 9.935 in the event.

The Sun Devil's score at UCLA on Sunday will give ASU its final road score to count towards its regional qualifying score (RQS). Starting Monday, the national rankings will be ordered by a team's RQS score rather than the current score average. The RQS is calculated by averaging the top-three overall scores and the top-three road scores, with the highest home score dropped.
