Gravitational waves discovered


The discovery of gravitational waves by the LIGO experiment has opened the door on a new chapter of science. Arizona State University physicist Lawrence Krauss compared this discovery to the invention of the telescope, saying, "It will certainly be a Nobel-prize-winning discovery," and, "they opened a new window on the universe."
