Gilmore joins Phoenix Human Services Commission


ASU’s School of Social Work Director Mary Gillmore is one of the newest members of the Phoenix Human Services Commission.

The commission’s goals include encouraging cooperation with educational institutions and programs, striving to prevent crime, improving economic opportunities, creating needed recreational services, and taking part in social services and anti-poverty programs. The other new commission members are Wally Straughn, Jesus Love, Angela Banks and Kristen Lopez.

The School of Social Work is part of ASU's College of Public Programs at the Downtown Phoenix campus.
