Gilmore joins Phoenix Human Services Commission


<p>ASU’s School of Social Work Director Mary Gillmore is one of the newest members of the Phoenix Human Services Commission.</p><separator></separator><p> The commission’s goals include encouraging cooperation with educational institutions and programs, striving to prevent crime, improving economic opportunities, creating needed recreational services, and taking part in social services and anti-poverty programs. The other new commission members are Wally Straughn, Jesus Love, Angela Banks and Kristen Lopez.</p><separator></separator><p>The School of Social Work is part of ASU's College of Public Programs at the Downtown Phoenix campus.</p>
