Future of high-tech could be highly flexible

Arizona State University engineers and scientists are at the forefront of efforts to bring the world flexible electronics.

At the Flexible Display Center, located at the ASU Research Park, they’re working with the U.S. Army and industry partners on technological advances that promise to someday produce lightweight video and text display devices that could be folded, rolled up or even wrapped around an arm.

In a recent TV interview the center’s director, Nicholas Colaneri, talked about progress in development of flexible technology and its potential to spawn new industries.
