Fellmeth to lecture at Yale
<p>Professor <a href="http://www.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=5331">Aa… Fellmeth</a>, of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, will deliver a talk, "Nondiscrimination as a University Human Right," on Friday, April 24, at Yale Law School's annual conference honoring Yale Law Professor W. Michael Reisman.</p><separator></separator><p>Fellmeth will participate in the Human Rights Panel, along with other leading international-law scholars from around the United States and the world, at "Realistic Idealism in International Law: A Conference in Honor of W. Michael Reisman."</p><separator></separator><p>Reisman, the Myres S. McDougal Professor of International Law, has been on the Yale faculty since 1965. He is a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science, the president of the Arbitration Tribunal of the Bank for International Settlements and a member of the Institut de Droit International. In addition to being a world-renowned scholar, Reisman is an active practitioner, serving as an arbitrator in countless public international and investor-state arbitrations and as counsel in other arbitrations and in cases before the International Court of Justice.</p><separator></separator><p>Fellmeth, a 1997 alumnus of Yale Law School, has studied international law from an interdisciplinary perspective since 1991. His research and teaching focus on international law jurisprudence and the formation of rules of customary international law in contested subjects, such as evolving human rights issues, espionage and covert action, psychological manipulation, conventional and asymmetrical armed conflict, and the internationalization of intellectual property rights.
