Entertainment experts to speak at symposium
Six experts on entertainment law - from licensing and writing for television to agents for film and entertainment law professors - will serve on a panel titled, "An entertainment law story: Ethics, licensing and distribution in a media based world," at the upcoming Entertainment Law Symposium at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
The Symposium is designed to dispel myths that surround entertainment law through anecdotes, advice and guidance, and is sponsored by the Sports and Entertainment Law Students Association. It will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Nov. 16, at the Great Hall in Armstrong Hall on the Tempe campus.
Panelists include: Ben Mauceri from Comedy Central, Lily Fizzy from Sony Pictures International, Cathy Sadler from NBC Universal, Alan Zweibel from Saturday Night Live, Eric Feig from Rosen Feig Golland & Lunn LLP, whose clients include Super Troopers, Animal House and Wolverine Wanted, and Rod Underhill from MP3.com. There will be a mixer after the panel where the panelists can mingle with the attendees.
