July 09, 2009

Professor Ira Ellman of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law recently was elected a Visiting Fellow at Trinity College Cambridge. The College is governed by the Master and more than 160 Fellows, who are responsible for maintaining it as a place of education, learning and research, and for promoting its welfare.

Ellman, a Willard H. Pedrick Distinguished Research Scholar, a Faculty Fellow at the College of Law's Center for the Study of Law, Science, & Technology, and an ASU Affiliate Professor of Psychology, also is an affiliate faculty member of the Center for Child and Youth Policy at the University of California at Berkeley. His scholarly projects include an empirical investigation into how people make judgments about appropriate legal rules, and a book for Oxford University Press about the difficulties inherent in implementing family policy through family law.
