Dining changes at Memorial Union


<p>Those who have wandered about the Memorial Union on the Tempe campus looking for a bite to eat this summer may have noticed the dining changes afoot.</p><separator></separator><p>What’s out: All the restaurants in Union Plaza, Pizza Hut pizzas, Schlotzky’s, Pepsi fountain drinks, Bubble Teaze and the name “Campus Dining.”</p><separator></separator><p>What’s in: Taco Bell, Burger King, Jamba Juice, Cold Stone Creamery, Starbucks, Einstein Bros Bagels, Chick Fil-A, Pitchforks, Papa John’s pizza, Quizno’s, Extreme Pita, Jump (Asian), Zoca (Mexican), Coca-Cola fountain drinks and the name “Sun Devil Dining.”</p><separator></separator><p>Aramark Higher Education, which received the contract for food services at the MU July 1, has brought in several of its own restaurant brands,such as Jump, Extreme Pita and Zoca, which will open in Union Plaza later this summer.</p><separator></separator><p>Several food-service locations are undergoing remodeling, and they also will reopen when the fall semester starts, says Vernon Hebert, marketing specialist for the MU.</p><separator></separator><p>For summer dining venues and hours of operation, go to the MU Web site <a href="http://www.asu.edu/studentaffairs/mu">www.asu.edu/studentaffairs/mu</a>…;
