Computing Center offers Saguaro2 supercomputer workshops

Join the ASU Advanced Computing Center (A2C2) on Jan. 5-6 for all or part of two afternoon training sessions for users of the Saguaro2 supercomputer. The workshops will be held in Computing Commons 120 on the Tempe campus and will include: 



• 1:30-2:30 p.m.
, Jan. 5, Saguaro user environment: PBS scripting, new hardware overview and scheduling tips



• 2:30-3:30 p.m, Jan. 5, Compiling, profiling, debugging, tuning and accelerating C and Fortran programs on Saguaro



• 3:30-4:30 p.m., Jan. 5, Advanced scripting and helpful Unix tips on Saguaro with specific attention to Matlab and R applications



• 1:30-2:30 p.m., Jan. 6, Numerical libraries overview and parallelization strategies

• 2:30-3:30 p.m., Jan. 6, Introduction to XSEDE: available resources, applying for allocations, services and programs



• 3:30-4:30 p.m., Jan. 6, Open meeting on A2C2 services: Information design, data analytics, visualization.
