Chaney named Pac-10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

<p>The Pac-10 Conference announced its track and field athletes of the week (April 11-17) with Arizona State University senior <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/c-track/mtt/chaney_jasmine00.html">… Chaney</a> being named the Women’s Track Athlete of the Week following another solid weekend of competition. The All-American won one individual event and helped a relay to victory a well.</p><separator></separator><p>Chaney led the way for the Sun Devils on the track at the Mt. SAC Relays as she had a hand in two wins and finished in the top three in all four races she participated in. The national leader in the 400-meter hurdles, Chaney won the event in 57.71. She also placed third in the 100-meter hurdles (13.51). In the relays, Chaney ran the anchor leg of the victorious 4x100 meter relay that finished in 44.53. She also anchored the 4x400 meter relay to second place in 3:33.22, which currently ranks sixth nationally.</p>
