Arizona Camp Broadway parade auditions will be at 9 a.m., Aug. 27, at ASU Gammage. There is no fee to audition for this program. Auditions will be an open dance call. No specific time slots will be available, and there is no need to register for an audition. Be prepared to stay for the full time as scheduled. All participants should be prepared to learn choreography and dance. Come in appropriate attire and footwear. Auditions will occur around the country, coinciding with Camp Broadway’s national tour.

Camp Broadway under the direction of artistic director Tony Parise, has been selected to perform the original number "There’s No Place Like Here," a song featured in the 3-D animated direct-to-DVD movie “Quest for Zhu,” which will be released on Sept. 27. CAMP BROADWAY’s performance will be televised live from Herald Square, surrounding the ZhuZhu Pets float.

The kids selected for the Macys Day parade will participate in a special one-week Camp Broadway program leading up to the parade performance, including a series of Broadway workshops, classes and rehearsals to prepare participants for the nationally televised performance.

ASU Gammage will be hosting its 13th year of Camp Broadway from June 4-8, 2012. The Camp sells out every year, so spots should be reserved early, by calling 480.965.5062.
