From Bulldogs to Sun Devils: baseball uniforms throughout the years

Although the name of the school changed over the years and Bulldogs became Sun Devils, the tradition of baseball at what is now Arizona State University goes back to the early days.

Bobby Winkles coached the Arizona State University from 1959 to 1971 and lead the Sun Devils to three national titles (1965, 1967 and 1969).

Jim Brock (left) was ASU’s second baseball coach. In his 23 year career (1972-1994) Brock led the Sun Devils to 13 College World Series appearances, winning the national championship in 1977 and 1981.
