Deep into the mysteries of identifying an unknown acid using acid-base titration, Katherine Travis (left), Timothy Regalado and Sara Kempkes work on their second semester chemistry lab. Many majors at ASU require a lab science, so the chemistry labs are always busy. Travis is a pre-med psychology major, Regalado is studying kineseology and Kempkes is studying biochemistry.

Kevin Townsley, a writer on FOX's, "The Chicago Code" visited ASU's Tempe campus as a guest of the Film and Media Studies department. In addition to speaking to one of the larger film and media studies classes, Townsley met and worked with screenwriting students in a more intimate setting.

U.S. Navy Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, held a conversation with a full house in the First Amendment Forum of The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication on ASU’s Downtown Phoenix campus, March 10. Admiral Mullen shared information on medical, educational, and employment issues facing today’s veterans and answered questions from the audience.
