ASU's Burfict, Gerhart, Onyeali earn mention in college football magazine

Arizona State University has been picked by Lindy's 2011 College Football Magazine to finish atop the newly-formed Pac-12 South Division in 2011. The magazine will be available on news stands June 28.

Junior linebacker Vontaze Burfict (Corona, Calif.) also picked up more accolades as he was named to the preseason First-Team All-America team, as well as to the First-Team All-Pac-12 squad.

Other Sun Devils gathering preseason awards are returning senior center Garth Gerhart (Norco, Calif.) and sophomore defensive end Junior Onyeali (Denver, Colo.). Both were named to the First-Team All-Pac-12 squad offensive and defensive teams, respectfully.
