The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) recently named the New Academic Complex on the ASU Polytechnic campus an Honor Award winner in its 2012 Professional Awards and Student Awards announcement.

The ASU project is one of 37 from more than 620 entries selected by ASLA to receive an award.

“This significant honor from ASLA underpins ASU’s careful consideration to combine beauty and functionality in its new academic environments,” said Ed Soltero, assistant vice president and university architect at ASU.

The Polytechnic campus design in Mesa, Ariz. is by Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, Inc. ASLA will announce ASU’s award during its annual meeting and EXPO held Oct. 1 in Phoenix.
