ASU golf program highlighted by European Tour

The Sun Devil men's golf team has been named by the PGA European Tour as one of the major contenders in collegiate golf.

In an interview with head coach Tim Mickelson, brother of Phil Mickelson, professional golfer and ASU alumnus, Mickelson says that the Sun Devil players, especially those who hail from Europe, have "a very good knowledge of their own golf game."

One such player, Mathias Schjoelburg from Germany, speaks highly of the ASU program, saying that athletes can become "as good as they want" to become.
