ASU Carillon to give memorial concert

ASU’s Symphonic Carillon is a memorial to those in the ASU community who gave their lives for their country.

Those students and alumni will be remembered at a memorial event from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, May 28, at the carillon, which is located on the lower level of Old Main.

The Air Force R.O.T.C. will post the colors at 12:15, following which the names of those who died in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the most recent wars will be read.

ASU Carillonneurs Kevin Snow and William Swayze will play patriotic music, and the ASU community is invited to come and sing along.

All veterans are invited to stop by between noon and 1 p.m. to receive a gift from the ASU Carillon Society. Those who would like to add a name to the list, or would like more information, should send an e-mail to carillon@asu.edu.
