Astronomy Open House to focus on stars


<p>What exactly, is a star? Where does it come from, and where does it go?</p><separator></separator><p>These are some of the questions that will be answered during Arizona State University’s next Astronomy Open House, from 8 to 10 p.m. March 26. The theme will be “The Lives of Stars.”</p><separator></separator><p>Patrick Young, a professor of astrophysics at ASU, will give a talk on “Building the Universe One Star at a Time.”</p><separator></separator><p>The evening will include star-themed activities, telescope viewing, a planetarium show, meteorite display, and rock fun with the GeoClub.</p><separator></separator><p>The Open House will take place on the roof of the Bateman Physical Sciences Center H Wing (5th Floor) on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus.</p><separator></separator><p>Free parking is available in Structure 2, McAllister Avenue and Tyler Street, after 7 p.m. Information: (480) 965-0665 or http://astopenhouse.com.</p&gt;
