Astronomy Open House to focus on stars

What exactly, is a star? Where does it come from, and where does it go?

These are some of the questions that will be answered during Arizona State University’s next Astronomy Open House, from 8 to 10 p.m. March 26. The theme will be “The Lives of Stars.”

Patrick Young, a professor of astrophysics at ASU, will give a talk on “Building the Universe One Star at a Time.”

The evening will include star-themed activities, telescope viewing, a planetarium show, meteorite display, and rock fun with the GeoClub.

The Open House will take place on the roof of the Bateman Physical Sciences Center H Wing (5th Floor) on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus.
