Arizona State falls to Nevada


Carrick Felix led the Sun Devils with 15 points and Kyle Cain had 14 points and 10 rebounds as Arizona State fell to Nevada 69-61, Dec. 7.

Arizona State (3-5) had its best shooting game in seven years the last time out, but struggled in spurts during its first home game since Nov. 18.

Deonte Burton scored 21 of his 28 points in the second half and Nevada knocked off its second straight Pac-12 opponent by beating Arizona State.

Coming off an overtime win over Washington, Nevada (6-3) grabbed the lead in a tight game with a couple of small runs in the second half and held Arizona State off down the stretch. Burton had a career-high 31 against the Huskies and still had the touch going against the Sun Devils, hitting 6 of 11 shots from the field and 13 of 15 free throws.

Dario Hunt added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Wolf Pack.
