Another Afghanistan

<p>ASU professors of English Don and Alleen Nilsen lived in Afghanistan from 1967 to 1969. Don was on an Agency for International Development (A.I.D.) contract teaching at Kabul University with two Afghan counterparts, and Alleen was teaching at American International School of Kabul.</p><separator></separator><p>Since the Nilsens had young children, they saw the country through the eyes of Kelvin, Sean, and Nicolette, who were 8, 6 and 4 when they arrived in Kabul.</p><separator></separator><p>They later created a website to illustrate, in words and images, what life was like in the country.</p><separator></separator><p>Check it out at <a href="http://www.public.asu.edu/~apnilsen/afghanistan4kids">http://www.public…;
