Alumna interviewed on 'Dateline'

Alicia (Maher) Dominguez, a 2001 graduate of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, appeared on a segment on NBC's "Dateline" about a 2006 murder in Ahwatukee and the subsequent murder trial of Dominguez's client.

The report, "In the Bedroom," by NBC Correspondent Josh Mankiewicz, examined the death of Polish immigrant Adam Kostewicz. Dominguez, an attorney in the capital unit of Maricopa County's Office of the Public Defender, co-defended Kostewicz's wife, Grace Pianka, who was convicted of the crime in March 2009.

"A rush to judgment," Dominguez said during the "Dateline" report, which aired on Monday, Aug. 24. "That's why we're here today."
