Leadership development resources for Arizona State University faculty and staff can now be found together on the new Leadership Development website.

Formerly pieced together on a number of different websites, the new leadership development site aims to act as a go-to resource for faculty and staff looking to advance as leaders. The site features a redesigned leadership portal, which provides information about upcoming events related to leadership development, and a library of online leadership resources. Included in the resources are the full recordings of each of the 13 leadership network webinars on topics related to leadership skills, inclusion, wellness and more.

The new leadership site also features the leadership guide, which identifies nine dimensions that define leadership at ASU. The leadership guide provides a foundation for how ASU thinks about leadership development and is at the core of all the programming and resources. Users can also download the leadership guide kits, which provide a tool for sharing and discussing the leadership guide with teams to explore how it relates to their own efforts. Each kit includes facilitator instructions, PowerPoint slides and all materials needed to run the activity in either one or two hours.

Also outlined on the new site is the leadership network, which represents a unified approach to leadership development across the institution. The network is anchored by the leadership guide and includes the six pan-university leadership programs, leadership portal, Career EDGE and other leadership initiatives. Together with these resources, the network aims to support faculty and staff leaders at every level and discipline who can advance the goals of the ASU Enterprise.

This new leadership development site is offered as part of the University Design Institute (UDI). Through various design initiatives, including leadership development, UDI seeks to reframe the design of universities for the future to create long-term, systemic transformation.
