Sun Devils remain perfect with 6-1 win over Northwestern


<p> The Arizona State men's tennis team remains undefeated with a 6-1 win over Northwestern. The Sun Devils won the doubles point and five of the six singles matches to defeat the Wildcats.</p><separator></separator><p>In doubles, the duo of <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-tennis/mtt/bellama_tj00.html">T.J. Bellama</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-tennis/mtt/brooklyn_matt00.html">… Brooklyn</a> blew past Marc Dwyer and Alex Sanborn 8-5 in the No. 1 spot. <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-tennis/mtt/miller_wes00.html">Wes Miller</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-tennis/mtt/nanoskyii_john00.html"… Nanosky II</a> handily defeated David Seyferth and Andrew McCarthy 8-3 in the No. 3 spot. <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-tennis/mtt/rebaza_juancarlos00.ht… Carlos Rebaza</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-tennis/mtt/arango_andres00.html">… Arango</a> fell 8-5 in their doubles match.</p><separator></separator><p>In the No. 1 spot, <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/m-tennis/mtt/brooklyn_matt00.html">… Brooklyn</a> kept his record on the year perfect after sweeping past Dwyer in two sets, winning 6-2, 7-5. Arango won his first match 7-6 but fell in his second 6-7 before retiring. Rebaza came back after dropping his second set to defeat Thams 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.</p><separator></separator><p>Miller blew past Wildcat Peer Rispoli, winning his match in two sets 6-3, 6-1. Bellama battled back after dropping his first set to defeat Juan Gomez 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Nanosky remained undefeated at the No. 6 spot with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Seyferth.</p><separator></separator><p>The Sun Devils begin Pac-10 play next week in Los Angeles.
