Sun Devils in first at Wildcat Invitational

The third-ranked Arizona State women's golf team is in first place after the first round of the Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Ariz. ASU shot a 3-over 287 for the first round, one stroke ahead of second place teams Arizona, Oklahoma State, Duke and UCLA.<separator></separator>Individually, sophomore <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/murcia_juliana00.html">J… Murcia</a> leads the Sun Devils after shooting a 1-under 70 to tie for third place. Murcia's score of 70 in the first round of the Wildcat Invitational ties her career-low round set at the Dick McGuire/Branch Law Firm Invitational in 2006. Junior All-American <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/osborn_jennifer00.html">… Osborn</a> is tied for ninth, shooting an even-par 71. Fellow junior All-American <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/munoz_azahara00.html">Az… Munoz</a> shot a 1-over 72 to tie for 14th after the first round. Sophomore All-American <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/nordqvist_anna00.html">A… Nordqvist</a> is tied for 30th after shooting a 3-over 74.
